Hunter Councils Re-Launch

Glue Digital was contacted by Elise from Hunter Councils regarding a refresh and an upgrade of their existing website. The current site they had was quite outdated in terms of design and functionality. It also lacked a content management system, meaning the staff at Hunter Councils updated their website manually, which required knowledge of coding.

We met with Hunter Councils to understand their business and determine how we could assist in not only updating their website but assisting in stream lining some of their business processes. The end result was a new website designed to current standards, and built upon the WordPress content management system. We maximised the amount of functionality that can now be updated through an easy control panel environment, rather than having to update the code on individual and multiple pages.

This now means that Hunter Councils can easily train new staff members to manage and maintain their website without them being required to understand the complexities of web page coding.

During the consultation process we explored different options for taking some of their manual processes and stream lining them in an online environment. Through this process we actually determined the best product for Hunter Councils to achieve what they needed was a third party system from a different provider.
